Humanitarian Services Action (HuSA) is a non-profit Community-based organization (CBO) formed and led by Refugees and Host Community members of Kyangwali refugee Settlement.

HuSA's focus is on Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Services (MHPSS), addressing the prevalent psychological stress experienced by OVER 137,000 individuals affected by humanitarian emergencies in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement and the Host community. The organization will alleviate emotional suffering, rebuild community structures, and mitigate the risk of developing mental health conditions during and after emergencies.
Objective 1
Registration of HuSA as a CBO Operational in Kikuube District and strengthening sustainable operational capacities.
Objective 2
Develop and implement Structured Educational Programs within refugee communities for target groups
Objective 3
Implement GBV prevention and response strategies as integral components, reducing reported incidents and increasing access to multi-sectoral support services.
Objective 4
Implement environmental protection measures to create safe living environments, by collaborating with local authorities and stakeholders
Objectives 5
Strengthen child protection measures within refugee communities and ensuring coordination with relevant agencies and partners to provide comprehensive support.

Enhance community resilience and social cohesion through targeted community-based efforts, achieving measurable improvements in community well-being.

Implement sustainable food security interventions and agricultural innovations to increase in food security and mental well-being.
